[advocacy-discuss] Advocacy Pages for Migration: Status Update

hey ...

Here's an update on the Advocacy pages regarding the transition:

We have about 100 pages, 50 of which have been cleaned up to one degree
or another for malformed HTML/TML, so they migrate beautifully now. And
about 20 more pages just came over pretty well with no changes to their
HTML/TML at all. There are little breaks here and there, of course, but
it's just too easy to fix that stuff in XWiki when we finally move to
the new site, so we're not bothering with them on the old site. There
are another 30 pages or so that are broken at source and missing
attachments, so I'll be advocating that we delete them at some point
because they have lacked owners for a long time now. I pinged all the
OSUGs about the migration and several have responded that their content
is fine. A few more are fixing up their pages at source, and a couple
have some issues we are working on as bugs. Most have not responded so I
have to assume they are fine.

I'm looking forward to the new site because we'll have over 100 people
with edit privileges to the Advocacy CG pages, which will be excellent
(and obviously not workable on the old site). Anyway, the Advocacy CG
space is done and ready to go. Thanks for the migrations and the help.

Jim
