OpenSolaris SPARC not working on Sun Enterprise 250 server

Hello,
I have Sun Enterprise 250 server with 18 x 2 hdd's & 1.5 gb ram.
I downloaded osol-0906-ai-sparc iso and burnt on a CD
My server is not booting from CD.
Existing OS ofcourse is Solaris 10
How can I proceed?
STOP + A key sequence is not working from my Sun keyboard.

Hello,
You need to use the Automated Installer to install a SPARC system.
The details of using it can be found at:

Thanks for quick reply.
To set up "Atumated installation" I need 1 more SPARC system which I don't have. I only have 1 SPARC machine.
I am checking if my server supports WAN boot using following command >
# eeprom | grep network-boot-arguments
I can fix another SPARC machine on temp machine but it's important for me to get installed OpenSolaris on this old box.

I just used above command and output is nothing. Just blank.
So according to Sun doc my server doesnt support WAN boot.
What to do now? Any other alternatives?

Alas you are out of luck. The Automated Installer requires the wanboot
capability. I've had a look at the OBP patches for the E250 and the
latest (106503-09) brings it up to version 3.30 and that does not
bring in the wanboot functionality.

One doubt is I was able to boot from Solaris 10 SPARC cd on same server and was able to do installation in graphical user mode.
I did fresh installation of Solaris 10 on it. No upgrade. It worked how ever.

OpenSolaris uses completely new packaging and installation systems,
not the ones used by Solaris 10, so Solaris 10 experience doesn't
apply here. Direct install from CD for SPARC is a future feature
for OpenSolaris, and hasn't been finished yet.

I have just managed to get a SunBlade 1000 up and running with OpenSolaris 2009.06
off the dev repository. I am having some problems with display driver
and ssh.
