Nitin Hande proposed [7] a project for enhanced IP on Infiniband (IPoIB) performance, to port the current driver to GLDv3 framework, and support all Sun qualified Infiniband HCA feature's relevant to IPoIB.

Alan Coopersmith brought up [10] the topic of email voting, according to the constitution, stating that consenting to vote by e-mail does not indicate a vote in favour and that e-mail votes must thus be unanimous. Roy Fielding followed up [11] with some explanation of why, with the intention that opensolaris could migrate to an independant legal entity under the same constitution at some stage in the future. Roy noted [12] that these were only in place to resolve arguments that could not be resolved in any other way, during the rate ocasions where there was significant disagreement.
