Hi all,

The french-speaking OpenSolaris user group is preparing a major OpenSolaris Event for the next October 13th.

French-speaking conferences in the morning (ZFS, zones, Solaris next, ...)

English-speaking conferences in the afternoon...did you ever dream to meet 4 OpenSolaris distributions people in the same location at the same moment ?
Belenix, Milax, Nexenta, Sun OpenSolaris explained to their supporters !

Finally, to show how OpenSolaris is the best OS, install party.

This event is already sponsored by Sun France (http://www.sun.fr), CESI IT School (http://www.cesi.fr) and UNIKService ;) .

So ? What about a week-end in Toulouse (1,5 hours from Mediterranean Sea, 4 hours from Barcelone, direct flights from major european cities) ? The 13th is a Monday....

A registration website is on its way.
Stay tuned !

Nicolas

P.S.: CC is not easy on jive...please forward around you.

Cool. Take lots of pics and video so we can all see it :) I added it to
the Events page http://opensolaris.org/os/events/. Please feel free also
send your announcement to opensolaris-announce as well (in French or
English or both), especially when you get your registration site up.
I'll update the Events listing with your reg info when you get it.

Jim
