I'll stay with 3.0.7 fot the time b****. That one is really stable on S10. I'm not sure 3.1b3 is too.

Lots of ogg-theora video's. They play well, but I have no sound. This is on SXCE.b109
I love your work. Thank you.

Does anybody have FF3.1b3 running on solaris 10 with positive results, compared to firefox-3.0.7?

Restart Firefox can bring back the sound. Usually the first attempt to open a video works with sound enabled. If I try to play several videos at the same time, the sound goes away with the error message.
CC Brian who works on the video part to get more information.

This is a known issue. /dev/audio can only be opened once. In most of cases, closing the page can release /dev/audio.

That does not sound like a solution to me. If a (sub)routine calls/opens /dev/audio it should release it too. I don't have to close pages with flash movies to watch one at a time, without losing the sound;-)

Alfred,
Great work as well.
It will also be very good, if you could also release contrib builds for Seamonkey! I know it is not in the supported app list, but still some choice for Solaris folks will be much appreciated.
Regards Siva

Hi Siva,
The SeaMonkey 1.1.14 contributed builds for Solaris are provided by the community as I check the Mozilla server: http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/seamonkey/releases/1.1.14/contrib/. The Solaris 10 x86 version works fine on my OpenSolaris box here. The startup script might need to be hacked a little bit to get around the patch checker.
Cheers, -Alfred
