Welcome to the OpenSolaris HPC CommunityThis is a community for anyone interested in High Performance Computing (HPC) on OpenSolaris. Its purpose is to:
Vertical CommunitiesOver time, we will be launching additional communities that are focused on specific HPC verticals. The current list of active communities is: Community WikiYou can find the community wiki on the GenUnix site. Please add whatever content seems useful and/or appropriate. Join Us
What's NewManufacturing HPC CommunityA new community has been launched for HPC in the EDA/MCAE vertical. You can find the community site here. Sun HPC Developer Kit Preview30 May 2008 -- the Sun HPC Developer Kit Preview has been released at the OpenSolaris HPC Stack Project.DTrace for Open MPIDTrace is a comprehensive dynamic tracing framework for OpenSolaris. It provides a powerful infrastructure to permit administrators, developers, and service personnel to concisely answer arbitrary questions about the behavior of the operating system and user programs. This project proposes to add DTrace probes into the MPI library, leveraging the PERUSE / OTF instrumentation (Vampirtrace) to ultimately allow tracing of key point-to-point communication events at the ClusterTools Point to Point Messaging Layer (PML)Traceable events will include:
