Tmp Directory
This place is the community's /tmp location where we can do pretty much
anything we want to do for the community. As an example, we can use this
location to place temporary files so that people can exchange files of their interests. If you have any files to share, please send an email to any of the leaders and let them save the files at this location.
When you download, please be sure to read supplied README or Release Notes for each file. If you have anything to upload, please
supply the community leader the file itself, md5sum value of the file,
and README or Release Notes for the file. File types that you can
upload are application/x-gzip, application/x-bzip2, application/pdf,
application/postscript, application/sgml, application/xml,
application/xsl, image/gif, image/jpeg, image/pjpeg, image/png,
text/html, text/plain, text/sgml, and text/xml. The file must be 15MB
or smaller. The file name will be converted to lower case. Any
characters other than letters, numbers, hyphen and underline will be
converted to underline.
The first file opensolaris-src-20050928-os-messages.tar.bz2
tarball contains the OpenSolaris OS message files that I extracted
from the opensolaris-src-20050928.tar.bz2
from the OpenSolaris.org Download page.
This is to supply the original (English) message files to the community
members who want to do early startup and work on message translations.
Please read the readme.txt
file supplied before you do the translation and
thanks!
The second and the thrid files are ksh93 test binaries for SPARC (64-bit) and x86 (32-bit) platforms. They are provided here for your test and this is to help out ksh93-integration project folks and make sure the ksh93 binaries are properly internationalized so that people can input and output their native characters freely.
The fourth file on-src-20060417-os-messages.tar.bz2
contains the OpenSolaris ON message files that I extracted from the on-src-20060417.tar.bz2
from the OpenSolaris.org ON Download page.
The fifth file mtools-20060522.tar.bz2
contains two message merge tools (one for X/Open catalog message files and
the other for Sun gettext PO files) that you can use to merge English message files and translated message files and a translated message quality check tool
that you can use to check on any possible translation errors from the translated messages files.
The sixth and seventh files ka_EG.UTF-8.src.bz2 and
UTF-8.cm.bz2
are Georgian UTF-8 localedef source and charmap files from Peter Nugent.
