Subject: Heads up: Surya project integration


Surya(PSARC 2005/707) project has delivered a faster forwarding table 
lookup scheme and a streamlined forwarding path, which increases IPv4 
forwarding performance and scalability. Surya project's design 
specification can be found at:
	http://npt.sfbay/surya/design.pdf

The command:

  "routeadm | grep forwarding"

will tell you if IPv4 forwarding is enabled on your system. If you 
notice problems in IPv4 forwarding functionality, please send email to 
surya-iteam at sun dot com. Bugs against this project should be filed with
