Subject: Heads Up: Notice of upcoming gate closure
Internal folks: ignore, this is a duplicate. I'm resending it for
external visibility.
Summary: we've got two big projects (Xen phase 1 [direct boot] and IP
instances) integrating in the next 24 hours, and to minimize risk for each
of them, we're limiting putbacks so they can build and test without having
to merge smaller putbacks.
We generally only do this for projects that are significantly larger than
the proverbial breadbox, and generally only for a maximum of 24 hours.
Sorry I forgot the "heads up" tag on the first note, which would have
caused it to go out yesterday instead of today.
