Subject: Heads up: igb nic driver

With the recent integration of:

     PSARC 2007/624 Intel 82575 1Gb PCI Express NIC Driver
     6591981 A new driver is needed to support Intel Zoar gigabit NIC

The new NIC driver igb(7D) is introduced into Solaris. The igb driver
supports the Intel 82575 PCI-Express gigabit ethernet NIC, and it is
based on GLDv3.

Please file bugs at solaris/driver/igb if you find some, and please
contact nic-china-internal at sun dot com if you need more information about
this driver.
