This putback also includes SCSA code to verify correct scsi_pkt(9S) allocation methods. If you have FC disks and your base nevada install is older than snv_83, you may see the following message: WARNING: fp: violates DDI scsi_pkt(9S) allocation rules For systems with qus HBAs (EOL pending), you may see CR5039942: WARNING: qus: violates DDI scsi_pkt(9S) allocation rules With a debug kernel, under special circumstances (private iscsi HBA-level uscsi(7I) API) you may also see CR6701665: WARNING: iscsi: violates DDI scsi_pkt(9S) allocation rules These are just a warnings, nothing should break. For 'fp', consider updating to newer nws consolidation bits. Fixes for 'qus' and 'iscsi', also in the nws consolidation, are pending. If you see any other HBAs identified in messages of this form, please file a CR. -Chris |
