Minor xVM flag day: domU shutdown changes

Subject: Minor xVM flag day: domU shutdown changes

If you don't use xVM, you can skip this message.

The putback of:

6677804 Can't shutdown Solaris HVM guest with PV drivers

constitutes a minor flag day for Solaris Nevada domUs. If you update
your xVM packages without also BFUing onnv or otherwise updating the
kernel, then you won't be able to cleanly shutdown your domU via the 'xm
reboot' or 'xm shutdown' commands.

As always, it's recommended to update both xVM packages and BFU at the
same time.

thanks,
john
