Solaris PowerPC Project Kickoff | 10/02/2006Sun Labs is pleased to announce the release to the OpenSolaris community of a long awaited update to the Solaris PowerPC code base. This source contribution provides the community with a functional Solaris PowerPC development environment on selected target platforms. This is a modest, but important step toward reaching the goal of developing the Solaris PowerPC port project to the point where it includes the latest source tree, provides a shell or single user prompt on the target platform, and has enhanced debugging, ie: KMDB. Community members are encouraged to check out the latest information on the Solaris PowerPC port project page and/or join the mailing list. Polaris Community Collaboration Site | 02/03/2006Polaris Community Site is open for business. The plan is to move the content over there gradually and focus the activity around the new site. It provides rich set of services – wiki, ticket tracking, subversion integration, simple project management, etc. Please visit us there ! Source repository for PowerPC port project | 07/06/2005Source repository for PowerPC port project (aka Polaris) is hosted at genunix.org (Thanks to Al Hopper, Ben Rockwood and Dennis Clarke). You may access it via subversion protocol (svn://svn.genunix.org) or HTTP. Subversion client should handle both methods. |
