The OpenSolaris community was one of six open source communities that was given funds to be used to foster innovation and recognize some of the most interesting initiatives and contributions within the community. Undergraduate Student Research Grant RecipientsThe OpenSolaris Undergraduate Student Research Grant Program is intended to build working relationships between the OpenSolaris community and colleges, faculty, and students. We hope the OpenSolaris community will get involved in monitoring these grants and mentoring these grant recipients. We need community members to review monthly progress reports, for example. If you have a particular interest in one of these projects, please post a note to the awards-program forum. Announcements
