Introduction

Solaris currently has support for a large number of network related MIBs. In particular, Solaris have MIBs for IP, ICMP, UDP and TCP. However, a new set of RFCs have recently been published that define updated versions of the IP and transport protocol MIBs. The goal of this project is to add the necesary facilities to Solaris to ensure support for the updated MIBs, and updata data providers (i.e., Net-SNMP) to take advantage of the information.
