NFSv4 Server Provider in Nevada | 12/07/2007The DTrace provider for NFSv4, server side only, has been integrated into Nevada, and will be in build 80. They'll be back up shortly. nfsperf released | 08/11/2006The nfsperf project has been approved, but it is not yet hosted on opensolaris.org. Until it is, I'm happy to announce that it is being hosted here. New release: all ops covered | 06/08/2006A new release of nfs4trace is now available. It is based on Nevada build 41. In this release, all op-* probes are present. There still need to be several attr-* probes added before the project is complete. Also, there are new fields in the nfs4dtraceinfo_t, which is present as args[0] in all probes. A page explaining this structure will be added soon; for now, see /usr/include/nfs/nfs4.h for its definition. Download available: Nevada build 37 based BFU archives | 04/17/2006An initial release is available here. The only pieces that truly work are op-compound and cb-compound, which cover the NFSv4 compound operation, and the callback operation. There are some other probes that you can experiment with as well. This is just an initial release… look for better functionality coming soon. |
