OpenSolaris Project: NFS RDMA transport update and performance analysisView the leaders for this projectProject Observers Endorsing communitiesHPC DeveloperNFS Storage NFS/RDMAThe NFS/RDMA project will update the OpenSolaris implementation of RPC for infiniband transports. The update will follow the outstanding proposals within the IETF NFSv4 working group. The IETF NFSv4 WG documents of interest are: A team at Ohio State University under the direction of Dhabaleswar K. (DK) Panda has been working from an initial prototype done at Sun. There is a functional NFS/RDMA at this point and the focus recently has been on performance modifications for the best read and write throughput.
