OpenRTI Visual Tour
The WebRTI login page currently uses a Sun authentication system, for OpenRTI we will be using the new OpenSolaris authentication system auth.opensolaris.org
This page is only seen by Evaluators, it is skipped by users who are only Developers. On this page an Evaluator can decide to use OpenRTI either as a developer themselves or as an Evaluator.
On this page a Developer can normally view all his or her existing RTI's
Or can create a new Marketing Release (MR) RTI or search previous RTI's
When a user creates a new RTI, this is the first page the developer encounters. Here the developer can select what gates his or her source code changes will be integrated into. In this example there is only one gate, 5.11
In this screen, "CRT Advocate" will be a list of senior engineers to choose from based on their expertise. The CRT Advocate/Evaluator can approve or reject the RTI.
Here the user enters the details of the bug or Request For Enhancement (RFE) that this integration fixes. This page will be redesigned for OpenRTI to interface with Bugzilla instead of Bugster which is used within Sun.
Any extra comments about the RTI can be entered here.
Information about how the code to be integrated was tested goes here.
Any additional questions that do not fit into any of the existing pages will go here. This page can be configured via a XML file. This screen provides an example of the types of questions that can be asked.
All RTIs queued for the evaluator (CRT Advocate) to review will be shown here.
The user can search all existing RTI's here.
